My Role: As a supporting product designer, I collaborated closely with the founding designer to help evolve and shape the experience. I contributed to the UX and content design, focusing on tone, accessibility, and emotional clarity across key flows and interface components.
My work helped bring structure to early-stage concepts and refined core moments of the platform — from navigation to storytelling. Through visual design, micro-interactions, and thoughtful information hierarchy, I supported the delivery of an experience that felt calm, respectful, and deeply human

About & goals
The product reframes progress not as performance, but as growth using metaphors like a “skill garden” to gently visualize development across cognitive, motor, social, and emotional areas. At its core, the goal was to offer clarity without pressure, and support without overwhelm

tl;dr: Growth tracker and activity toolkit that helps parents of babies with special needs feel supported, informed, and emotionally safe in the earliest and most tender stages of development
Process
Designing the app meant stepping into the lives of parents navigating the earliest stages of raising a child with developmental needs. These weren’t just app users, but rather caregivers juggling exhaustion, uncertainty, and deep care.
The challenge for the team wasn’t only in translating clinical guidance into mobile, which are already a tricky undertaking. It was also, in doing so with emotional precision, without overwhelming or simplifying the complexity of their reality.
Every aspect of the design needed to create a sense of safety, and support that felt honest, gentle, and genuinely useful
